Alexander L. Cappello is chair and chief executive officer of the Cappello Capital Corp., a global merchant banking boutique operating in 40 countries, which has completed in excess of $50 billion in transactions. Cappello has more than 30 years of global experience in corporate management, corporate finance, investment banking and merchant banking.
Prior to co-founding Cappello Capital Corp., he founded the Cappello Group, parent to Swiss American Financial and Euro American Financial Corporation, merchant and investment banking firms with operations throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia. A resident of Bel Air, Calif., Cappello holds a bachelor of science degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Rodney Freeman founded Freeman Group Inc. in 1993. Today, the company is one of the West Coast’s premier construction management and consulting firms, providing owner’s representative services, construction management, development management and building evaluation programs. In 1997, Freeman expanded into real estate investments, development and property management by co-founding Metro Properties LLC. Metro Properties has successfully purchased, renovated, repositioned and continues to manage many office, retail and industrial projects throughout Southern California, Oregon, New Mexico and Texas.
Throughout his career, Freeman has been responsible for the construction of more than 500 projects valued at more than $1 billion. He currently serves as co-chair of City of Hope’s construction and real estate industry committee. A Los Angeles native, he attended the architecture and construction management program at Pierce College and the California State University, Long Beach College of Engineering. He received his master of business administration degree from Pepperdine University.
Ronald J. Silverman currently serves as managing director of Bel Air Investment Advisors LLC, an investment advisory firm for high net worth families and foundations. Prior to joining Bel Air in 2003, Silverman was a senior managing director at Gerard, Klauer & Mattison, a researchbased investment bank headquartered in New York.
Before entering Wall Street, Silverman practiced law and began his career as a prosecutor for the United States Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. He practiced for 15 years as a partner at the Beverly Hills law firm Weissmann, Wolff, Bergman, Coleman & Silverman. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and his law degree from George Washington University.
