East End Chapter/Jeanne Kaye League celebrates New York’s best and brightest
More than 500 supporters gathered at New York’s landmark Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in May 2008 for the East End Chapter/Jeanne Kaye League’s 2008 “Woman of the Year” luncheon, where nearly $300,000 was raised for City of Hope.
Sharing the spotlight at the event were I. Dolly Lenz, vice chair of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, and New York’s FOX 5 News co-anchor Rosanna Scotto. Each received The Spirit of Life® Award in honor of her professional and philanthropic achievements.

A real estate executive with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Lenz has sold more than $7 billion in properties. The Economist magazine called her “New York’s Real Estate Queen,” and she has been recognized as the nation’s No. 1 broker for four consecutive years. Lenz has brokered transactions for many celebrity clients and represents some of the most exclusive properties in the world. She is a regular guest on CNBC and frequently shares her opinions on real estate issues in various media.
Scotto has been a member of WNYW-FOX 5 News since 1986. She began her career in television at WTBS, Ted Turner’s UHF television station in Atlanta. In the early 1980s, she returned to her native New York as a reporter for WABC’s “Good Morning New York,” which eventually became “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.” After a year with “Good Morning New York” and “The Morning Show,” Scotto joined WABC-TV’s “Eyewitness News,” where she remained until she joined FOX 5. Scotto has won three Emmys for anchoring “FOX 5 News at 10” and “Good Day New York.”
