Companies align with City of Hope to save lives

Each year, City of Hope’s corporate supporters help raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research, treatment and education via their sponsorship of Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer Nationally Presented by Staples. These sponsorships generate considerable national awareness and strengthen community support for City of Hope’s mission to eradicate the disease. We thank all of the companies that support the institution’s efforts through their involvement in Walk for Hope.

Staples Inc. will donate $600,000 for cancer research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope. This year, Staples is the National Presenting Sponsor of City of Hope’s Walk for Hope and will match dollars raised at Walk events held nationally up to $250,000. Additionally, Staples continues to be a strong supporter of City of Hope as part of the National Office Products Industry group.

Hilton HHonors continues their longstanding support of Walk for Hope by returning this year as a national sponsor of the event. Once again they will provide fundraising incentive prizes for Walk participants in the form of Hilton HHonors bonus points, as well as complimentary hotel night stays.

City of Hope is fortunate it can count on two new sponsors for Walk for Hope this year. Ladies’ Home Journal has joined the Walk for Hope team as a national media partner for the event. The Pink Channel will continue its generous ongoing support of City of Hope by participating in Walk for Hope as an additional national media partner. Both Ladies’ Home Journal and The Pink Channel will help boost Walk participation through increased national awareness for the event.

Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer is a national, family-oriented noncompetitive walk that raises funds to support breast cancer research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope. To register, donate or learn more about Walk for Hope, visit walk4hope.org.
